▶At first glance, it is a large work with more than Oil painting size #100. What kind of art artworks are you currently doing?
Yes, it'll be about that size. At the end of last year, he repeatedly copied artist Baishi Qi's "The morning glory" after finishing the "Media Art Video Individual Exhibition" at the Minoo Media Art Museum, and now he is making "The morning glory" into thread painting and computer-generated painting of media art.
▶I think it's a unique artwork. You said "thread painting." Is it literally the concept of coloring on a thread or cloth?
It is a painting designed to design a place for objects that want to express the fabric of canvas or hemp cloth material, and to adjust the overall composition to the object according to its shape. It is difficult to express in one word the accidental picture of an object to be determined by smudging paint drawn with a brush in the entire composition.
▶For example, when paint drawn with a brush smudges and looks like a human face, the coincidence cannot be judged, but it looks like a human face...
Is it okay to think of it as a creative inspiration, not a literary definition?
That's what I can say. When drawing, media art is mechanically reproduced by realizing media art without explanation of space, and painting a still image during the production process is thread painting.

▶I heard that you recently displayed it.
I had a personal exhibition of media art videos. Thread painting, which is a still image of media art to look like media art, wanted to find another originality of the original work.
▶It must have been seen from the perspective of painter or others who fully interpret during the exhibition, and at first, I was curious about the painter's intention and changes in the exhibition?
What changed after the video exhibition was the context in which the exhibition was viewed as a monitor. It was because each image that was stopped was painted with thread painting. It is a formative image with artistic meanings such as painting, and I found that various exhibitions are possible as well as media art.
▶Due to the fandom phenomenon caused by Covid-19, many changes are being detected in art. For example, the trend of online exhibitions reduces the number of people visiting the site. How does this change look?
Depending on the variability of the exhibition space, if you can maintain a distance of 1.5 times the length of the exhibition, you can watch it. Therefore, it will be possible to display anywhere in public facilities. The art museum will gradually focus on the role of storage, and due to the development of media media, it is expected that it will be converted into a "modern art in media art format" that can be displayed and will be displayed through video devices.
▶Come to think of it, 'modern art' seems very difficult. What is the power of positivity that art gives you?
The positive power of art is the pleasure of keeping visual beauty in our hearts.
▶You said "visual beauty and pleasure," but after all, it's "heart." So what do you think is a good work for the writer and for the consumer?
A good painting is a work that meets the beauty of the viewer's desire so that he can move his mind in the painting.
▶Lastly, please tell me what 'modern art' means.
Modern art is contemporary art! I try to draw a good picture that I can draw as a painter now.
